Egisto

PQ starred as the title role in this 17th century opera directed by Clifford Sofield and conducted by Michael Pratt. It was performed in the great Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall.

PQ on Egisto: "I was really honored to be chosen for this role but it was honestly a huge surprise for me when I was cast. I come from classical singing background but had never done any opera, so for me to get the title role on my first go-around was a bit of a shock. I was really intimidated by the project at first, but Michael Pratt, who was directing Operas before I was born told me he was sure I could do it and so I did it."
