In this urban production of Shakespeare's tragedy, PQ took on the unique challenge of playing Emilia, Iago's wife. J.D.M. Willaims directed.
PQ on playing Emilia: "It wasn't as big a stretch as you would expect. I wasn't literally playing a woman, which would have been crazy. Rather, the director decided that in the world of this production Emilia was a cross-dressed man. This play made so many other jarring choices that it didn't really seem strange by the time they met Emilia. I really had a blast creating that role. It's a really fun role to get to play, particularly as a man."
